Here is what people had to say about my first 2 releases:
Steve May - Blend Forty-3 Feat. Original Mix and [Luke Chable & Steve May's Blind at 43 and still rocking Remix] - Baroque Records - Jan 2005
"What more can be said about this one... Baroque launch into 2005 with an absolute monstrous offering from Australia's Steve May... punchy beats, and tripped out melodies are the order of the day here... While on the flip he teams up with LUKE CHABLE, who provides one of his finest works to date... Big chords & crunchy beats have made this a crowd fave for the likes of Sasha, Oakenfold, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Digweed, Sander Kleinenberg, John 'OO' Flemming, Anthony Pappa, Quivver, Nick Warren. Crossing the progressive / trance border in fine style!" - Baroque Records Press Release.

Here is what M8 magazine had to say about Blend forty-3:
"I thought last year was a bit disappointing from the Baroque crew, but if their 2005 has anything to do with this release, I'm sure there will be a whole load voting Baroque for the label of the year 2005 (yeah i know it's a bit early!). I don't usually tend to go for the hands on the air progsters but the is one almighty beast that will get even the most cynical of you hugging whoever/whatever is beside you. Remix duties go to Steve May himself who teams up with prog god Luke Chable. These two add that bit extra to the original and create a release that even John Lennon would be proud of! M8/M8 (Derek Taylor)"
Debut Record:
Steve May - Open Day : EQ (Grey) Recordings (Includes Luke Chable "Chaos n Crators mix")
What other people had to say about Open Day:
From Stomp.com.au/sanity.com.au:
As featured (Luke Chable mix) on Sashas Kiss FM showcase mix 2004!!! Original mix Licensed to Hernan Cattaneo Renaissance Masters CD & Luke Chable mix licensed to Anthony Pappa Balance 006 CD!!20 year-old Steve May hails from Melbourne, Australia, and quite simply, has produced one of the standout tracks to be released this year on his debut outing for EQ [grey]. The original mix sounds like a cross-between James Holden and Luke Chable (Bedrock, Vapour) with a huge b-line and melodies that will leave a lasting impression on the dancefloor. On the flipside and equally as big is the remix by Luke Chable who delivers a breaks interpretation that Sasha has been playing in every set for the last 3 months. Chables mix is an epic & twisted track that utilises the huge breakdown and melodies from the original to great effect. HUGE!! DO NOT MISS!!
